An earthquake struck South Pacific, triggers Tsunami.

A strong earthquake measuring 7.7 on Richter scale has struck the South Pacific at 6:50 pm Indian Standard Time. The earth quake has generated a Tsunami, reported Australian weather agency.

Australian Bureau of Meteorology said “Tsunami confirmed. The agency issued warning to Lord Howe island, which is located some 550 kilometers from the mainland Australia. The epicenter of the tremors is located Southeast of Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia.
