& Tribal Deptt win respective matches
Four matches were played on the fourth day of the ongoing Nava Raipur Premier League (NPL) Cricket, on Wednesday.
Department of Law Legislative Department took on Tribal Research Institute (TRI). TRI won the toss and invited the Legislative to bat first. The team scored a massive 161 runs in 8 overs. TRI team could score only 83 runs in 8 overs. Legislative team won by a big margin of 78 runs. Devashish was adjudged Man of the Match.
School Education Department won the toss and elected to bat first in the match against General Administration Department (Mantralaya 11). Education Department could score 42 runs in 8 overs in response to which Mantralaya 11 won the match in just 3 overs without losing any wicket. Aslok was declared Man of the match.
Tribal Department invited Gramodyog Department to bat first after winning the toss. Gramodyog set the target of 59 runs for Tribal Department. In response, Tribal Department scored 65 runs in 6 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. Man of the match awarded went to Satyam Mishra.
Police Headquarters Telecom department took on State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) in the fourth match. PHQ Telecom won the toss and invited SUDA to bat first. SUDA scored 76 runs in the stipulated 8 overs, giving the Telecom a target of 77 runs to win. In response, Telecom won by 9 wickets scoring 79 runs in 7 overs. Radheraman of Telecom was declared Man of the Match.
