Two Muslim men caught for stealing cash and ornaments from a temple in Maharashtra.


Maharashtra Police on Wednesday apprehended two Muslim men for stealing cash and jewellery from a Temple at village Pimpri of Thane District.

The theft took place at the temple on February. Police examined several CCTV footages of the surrounding areas, which led to the arrest of two accused 25-year-old Sharif Shafiful Shaikh and 28-year-old Mohammad Hussain, Yasin Mulla from Kharghar in Navi Mumbai.

Police also recovered the stolen cash and jewellery on Monday. The police also seized an auto-rickshaw which the accused had used in the criminal act.
