NPL- four matches played on day five

The fifth day of the ongoing Nava Raipur Premier League (NPL) witnessed four matches. The first match was played between Chhattisgarh Housing Board and General Administration Department (GAD) team. Winning the toss, Housing Board elected to bat first and scored 104 in the stipulated 8 overs. In reply, GAD’s team could score 98 runs, losing the match by six runs. Jitu was adjudged Man of the Match.

After being put into bat by Women and Child Development (WCD) Department team in the second match, Technical Education team scored 77 runs. In reply, Women and Child Development Department achieved the target of 78 for the loss of three wickets, registering victory by seven wickets. Prakash Yadav was declared Man of the Match.

Winning the toss in the third match, Labour Department opted to bat first and scored 72 runs, setting a target of 73 for Directorate of Horticulture. Chasing the target, Horticulture Directorate won the match by 7 wickets. Shailendra declared Man of the Match.

In the fourth match of the day, NIC won the toss and opted to bat first. The team scored 111 runs, setting a target of 112 for Directorate of Health Department. Chasing the target, Health Directorate could score 68. Trideep awarded Man of the Match.
