An important meeting of principals of all the schools, including private schools affiliated to the Chhattisgarh board, will be held at Mayaram Surjan Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Choubey Colony, Raipur, on February 15.
District Education Officer, Raipur, Ashok Narayan Banjara has issued a circular to all the principals on Saturday asking them to be present during the meeting. As per schedule, the meeting will be held in the auditorium of the school at 11 am on Monday and it is mandatory for all the principals to be present in it.
The agenda for the meeting are discussion on the annual examination of Class X and XII. It is to be mentioned, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has already announced the board examination dates for these classes. Another important agenda will an elaborate discussion on how Chhattisgarh Fee Regulatory Commission 2020 could be implemented in the schools. Other agendas for the meeting are data entry of teachers, students’ scholarship, RTI and others.
The District Education Officer said that the meeting is crucial as the Chhattisgarh Cabinet has given a go ahead to the reopening of schools in the state. All the schools will be reopening on February 15 for Classes 9 to 12. It is worthwhile to mention, Chhattisgarh cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel decided to resume offline classes in schools and colleges from February 15 with certain conditions. The schools will have to follow the Covid-19 protocols. The issue of Covid-19 protocols may be discussed in the meeting.
