Sign In for the Main Draw of Gondwana Cup All India Men’s Tennis Tournament (2.5 lakh prize money) held on Sunday. Ishaq Iqbal of West Bengal has been awarded first seed for the tournament while Paras Dahiya has been awarded second seed. Mohit Bharadwaj and Lanka Reddy have been given opportunity in the Main Draw as Lucky Losers.
Earlier, final phase of qualifying round was played on Sunday at Union Club and Chhattisgarh Club respectively.
Ominder Boysoya defeated Mohit Bharadwaj by 7-5, 6-1, Iftikhar Ali defeated Sivadeep Kosraju by 6-3, 6-3, Ojas Theijan defeated Dimitri Baslova in a three-set match by 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, Yash Chourasiya defeated B R Nikshep by 7-6 (5), 6-2, Madhwin Kamath defeated Hitesh Raj by 6-2, 1-0 (retired), Vishnu Vardhan defeated Pratush Mohanty by 6-1, 6-2, Sandesh Kurale defeated Lanka Reddy 6-3, 6-3 and Chinmay Dev Chouhan defeated Aryaman by 6-0, 6-2. The winners entered the Main Draw of the tournament.
