School Education Department has given another opportunity to students for admission in 9th and 11th classes in the schools of Chhattisgarh. The last date for the admission was over, but the date has been extended till February 28 keeping in mind the problems of students. Earlier, the last date was set as February 15. A decision has been taken in view of Corona. Directorate of Public Education has issued the order. This order has been issued to all joint directors and district education officers.
Director of Public Instructions Jitendra Shukla said that in view of Covid-19, time was given till February 15 for admission in 9th and 11th in state and non-government schools, but admission could not be completed due to problems on the part of students. Many children have been deprived, and have to wander for admission, so the Chhattisgarh Government decided to extend the date till February 28.
Corona positive students can appear in Class X and XII examinations provided they wear PPE kit and masks. But infected student will have to inform to the examination center a day in advance. Examination of such students will be taken in a separate room and copy will also be kept separate. CGBSE secretary V K Goyal has issued an order to this effect.
