West Zone Junior Athletics Championship concludes

Three-day 32nd West Zone Junior Athletics Championship 2021 concluded at Kota Stadium in Raipur on Friday.

In boys-14- high jump, Shreyash Bhendekar of Maharashtra stood first. In boys-16 shot put, Siddhant Lalchandani, Upesh R Dhanlagade, Zankat I Pankanbhai and Gyan Prakash Singh stood first, second and third respectively.  In Boys-16 300m run, Sahil Khan,  Parzan Cyrus Nariman, Abhay Singh, Abhishek Gupta and Siraman Murad Kalubhai won first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

In Boys-18 Javelin, Avshesh Singh, Vikaram Singh, Sarvesh Bharat Sonar,  Hardik Kumar Sadat, and Pradyumn Chauhan won first, second, third, fourth and fifth respectively. In Boys-18 1500m run, Satyajeet Pujari, Nishant Vilasrao Sawnat, Vishal Pandey, Gaurav Kumar Yadav and Bhansibhai Parmar came first, second, third, fourth and fifth respectively. In Boys-18 Triple Jump, Palvendra Singh and Akash Jadhav came first and second respectively.

In Boys-18  200m run, Animesh Kujur, Ramjan Ali, Rahul Kumar, Sumit Patel,  Md Rehan C Mohamadakil, Ajay Raghuveer and Devid Kumar Sahu stood first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.

In Boys-20 Javelin, Rushikesh D Jagtap, Sahil M Mulani, Parmar K Ghanshyambhai and Rajbir Singh stood first, second, third and fourth respectively. In boys 20 1500m run, Sandip Vikram, Pawan Kumar Kannaujiya and Amaliyar V Fatesinh came first, second and third respectively.

In boys-20  Triple Jump, Neeraj Radheshyam won the first prize. In boys-20  200m run, Sunil Jat, Sachin Gh Mashilkar, Harshwardhan R Pathak, Pratik Singh Chouhan, Shivam Singh Rajput, Kanhaiya Lal Jat, Dhruvirajsinh M Rathod and Ankit Aamjariya came first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.

In boys-20 10000m run, Karn Kumar won the first prize. In girls-14  high jump, Surekha Rajandra Farakate, Jagrutiben R Paraghi, Goswami Y Kiritpuri won first, second and third positions. In girls-16  Javelin, Pooja, Ishwari Ch Dhangekar, Shivani Z Garasiya came first, second and third respectively.

In  girls-16 300m run, Anshuka Dattatray Kumbhar, Roshaani Thakur, Manasvi Mehulbhai Sarang and  Siya  Singh  came first, second, third and fourth respectively. In girls-18 hammer, Tiya Solanki  came first. In girls-18  1500m run, Mitali Deepak Bhoyar,  Thota Sankeertana, Prathana Jain, Usha Kumari, Jada Rinkle Vinodbhai and Renu Rajendra Yadav stood first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

In  girls-18  triple jump, Kalpana Shankar Madkami, Priyanka Godara, Nirma Asari Bhuraji, Aditi Paldhare came first, second, third and fourth respectively. In girls-18  200m run, Seemna, Kinjalben H Makavana won first and second positions respectively. In girls-20  1500m run, Vaishnavi Vilasrao Sawant and Bhaashree Lahanu Navale won first and second prize respectively.

In  girls-20  triple jump, Sharvari Parulekar,  Mayuriben M Gamit and  Kanvikaben R Bhilar won first, second and third prize respectively. In girls-20  400m hurdles, Swarali Sunil Mohite won first prize.

In girls-20  200m run, Dwevyaniba M Zala,  Shreya Rahul Mulik,  Vishakha Handa, Sanika Prashant Nate, Prarthna Bhattacharya and  Nabonita Bera stood first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
