Akash Mehra shot at by Islamist terrorist in Krishna Dhaba attack succumbed to injuries.

Akash Mehra, the 22-year-old son boy injured in an Islamic terrorist attack in Kashmir, succumbed to injuries on Sunday. Mehra was the son of Ramesh Kumar Mehra who runs an eatery Krishna Dhaba in Srinagar.

Srinagar Mayor Hunaid Azim Mattu took to Twitter, saying “Woke up to extremely distressing news. Young Akash Mehra who was shot at by terrorists at Krishna Dhaba has succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital. I share the pain and grief of his family and stand by them as they mourn this inconsolable loss. May his soul rest in peace.”

The victim and his father run the eatery located in a high-security area of Dalgate. The Islamic terrorists from the terrorist organization “Muslim Janbaz Force” attacked the father-son duo after they applied for a domicile certificate of Kashmir on January 17. Akash was admitted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar.  Claiming responsibility for the attack, Muslim Janbaz Force called Hindu youth an outsider who wants to get the domicile in Kashmir.
