Coaching camp for state fencing teams begin

Training camp for Chhattisgarh State Junior Boys-Girls and Senior Men-Women Fencing teams commenced at Venkateshwar Signature School, Raipur on Thursday under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Fencing Association.

State Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agrawal was the chief guest while Raipur Development Authority chairman Subhash Dhuppad was guest of honour on the occasion.

Chairman of the school, Capt. Ankur Dhillon presented a bouquet to the Chief Guest on the arrival of the convoy. The dignitaries were then accompanied to the dais where the young trainees showcased their fencing skills.

While addressing the audience, Agrawal applauded the vision of the school’s Chairman Capt. Ankur Dhillon and remarked that VSS happens to bring in a lot of promise with itself in the field of sports and in promoting sporting talents. He wished the young Olympic aspirants for their bright future. The ceremony concluded with presenting of mementos to the dignitaries. The training/coaching camp shall continue until March 10.
