Equipped with traditional costumes and jewellery, youths walked on the ramp as part of an audition held for the Abujhmar Attire Ramp Walk Competition. The second audition will be held on Tuesday. The Abujhmar competition will be held on March 13.
Audition was held in the presence of Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Rahul Dev and Joint Collector Nidhi Sahu. A total of 29 youths participated in the audition and showcased their talent. All the participants performed their art dressed in colorful, traditional costumes.

Joint Collector Nidhi Sahu said that the purpose was to promote the culture of Narayanparu and provide youths a platform. From Abujhmar Traditional Costume Competition (Rampwalk) will be organized on March 13 at of Mata Mavali Mela. This competition is being organized in junior and senior category respectively. Youths below 18 are participating in the junior category while youths above 18 are eligible for senior category.

The joint collector informed that the participants can register for the audition to be held on March 9 from 10 am to 5 pm. Participants can also give auditions in simple costume.
IAS Officer Namrata Jain, Vishwadeep, Jitendra Yadav, Neelam Lalit Aditya, Naib Tehsildar Ketan Bhoyar, Kailash Diwan, Swati Pattavi were present on the occasion. Special support was received from Karuna Foundation.
