Experienced cricket coach Raja Banerjee from Bhilai has been appointed as Head Coach of Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) Under-19 team picked for Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
Banerjee had been providing his service as fielding coach of U-19 team for the last two years and now he has been elevated to the post of Head Coach for his excellent contribution to the team as fielding coach. It is worthwhile to mention, Banerjee is at present giving his service as Head Coach of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) senior team and personal coach of Amandeep Khare, one of the consistent batsmen in Chhattisgarh Ranji team.
Even as the date and venue of Vinoo Mankad Trophy has not been announced yet, the tournament is likely to be played in the last week of this month. Date and venue for the tournament is likely to be announced soon.
