Riding on half-century of Yashi Pandey (53 off 78), Chhattisgarh women defeated Tripura by 48 runs in One Day match played at Gymkhana Ground in Surat on Friday under BCCI Women’s Senior One Day Tournament.
Being put into bat, Chhattisgarh were all-out for 162 in 49.1 overs. Shivi Pandey (26 off 39), Pranshu Priya (21 off 53) and Pratigya Singh (10 off 19) made some healthy contribution to the total. M R Dey took three wickets for Tripua while P A Achraji, Survi Rai and M B Sinha took two each.
In reply, Tripura could score 114 in 44.4 overs as Pranshu Priya and Shraddha Vaishnav took three wickets each while Shyla Alam took two and Ritu Meshram and Manpreet Kaur took one each. R R Shah scored 29 for Tripura.
