Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh writes to Maharashtra CM, claimed Home Minister Anil Deshmukh asked beleaguered cop API Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crores per month.

Skeletons continue to tumble out as now former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, in a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, claimed that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had ordered Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crores per month from the Bars of Mumbai. Parambir also sent copies of the letter to the Deputy Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Ministry and the Governor’s Office.

Parambir Singh was recently transferred to Home Guards as Commandant General when the National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended Sachin Vaze as the main accused in the bomb scare case. Anil Deshmukh had claimed that the transfer of Parambir Singh was a routine exercise.
