Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged corruption of crores in the supplying photos to government schools. The pictures of Chhattisgarh Governor Anasuiya Uikey, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Education and Tribal Development Minister Dr Premasai Singh Tekam were supplied in schools.
It will cost hardly Rs 300 to Rs 400 to prepare a photo frame including the cost of shooting, but it is being billed Rs 4900 in all schools and the authorities are being forced to pay the amount, said AAP leaders.
Amazingly Kondagaon district, which is the home state of Congress state president Mohan Markam, lead the scam, alleged AAP State Secretary Uttam Jaiswal. Jaiswal also questioned the role of Markam in the matter.
Kondagaon District President Chandrabhan Srivastava said that information is being received that this photo set has been supplied by Aditya Enterprises to 1205 primary schools and 605 middle schools in the district.
AAP Kondagaon district unit has submitted an application to the police here and demanded action against after filing a report against those involved in the corruption. AAP has also raised concern over NJP’s silence over such a sensitive issue.
