The Health Department has directed private hospitals, nursing homes and doctors monitoring patients living in home isolation to reveal information related to the patient and the termination of their home isolation to the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the respective districts. The district control room will assess the patient’s eligibility before allowing home isolation. Regarding home isolation, proper counseling has also been given to the patient’s relatives and neighbors so that they can help maintain their morale even while maintaining proper distance from the patient throughout the entire period of isolation.
The family of the patient living in home isolation will also not go out of the house. Necessary arrangements will be made to ensure availability of daily need of the family.
The household waste collection and proper management of the home isolated patient’s home will be done through the district administration. All information related to home isolated patients will be made available daily by the district administration to the state’s IDSP branch.
