As Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appeals to states for supplying Oxygen, a startling fact came to fore when Union Health Ministry on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that Central Government had on in December 2020 sanctioned funds under PM Cares Fund to Kejriwal Government for set up of eight Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) Oxygen Plant in Delhi, but Delhi Government has set up only one oxygen plant so far.

Delhi CM Kejriwal made a touching appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Kejriwal requested PM to make a few phone calls to some states and solve the National Capital’s oxygen crisis. The High Court condemned both the Delhi and Central Governments for the oxygen crisis. Arvind Kejriwal even claimed to have talked about Oxygen Express initiative to transport oxygen to Delhi, but a statement by railway has debunked his claim. The Railway stated Kejriwal never approached to them for oxygen supply.
