18 patients dies in Bharuch hospital fire

IBBI amends Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India

As many as eighteen persons were killed after a massive fire breaks out at a hospital in Bharuch district of Gujarat on Friday midnight.
According to information received, the inferno broke out in Welfare Hospital’s COVID ward located on Bharuch-Jambusar Road at around 12:35. Prima-facie investigation suggests that short-circuit in the COVID ward might be the cause for mishap and later the flames spread to nearby ICU.
Officials said that 14 persons died in the mishap and the number of casualty may increase. Later, the patients were shifted to Bharuch Civil Hospital, Sevashram Hospital, Gujarat Hospital and Al-Mahmood General Hospital.
PM condoles loss of lives in hospital fire at Bharuch

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to a fire at a hospital in Bharuch.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said :
“Pained by the loss of lives due to a fire at a hospital in Bharuch. Condolences to the bereaved families.”
