Amid high-voltage drama, Raipur Police on Monday recorded the state of former Chief Minister and BJP national vice-president Raman Singh in the case of alleged fake toolkit registered with Civil Lines police station.
A team of police led by City Superintendent of Police (Civil Lines) Nasar Siddhiqui reached Singh’s house located in the city’s Moulshri Vihar on VIP road for recording his statement this afternoon, said a senior police officer, adding that Raman Singh gave written replies to questions sent by police in the notice.
In the written reply, Singh said that everything that he had shared or posted on his social media accounts is in public domain and he was ready to answer whatever he will be asked, he said.
Earlier in the day, Raman along with party’s state Chief Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik, MLA Brijmohan Agrawal and others staged a protest in front of Civil Lines Police station demanding to court their arrest.
