In another breakthrough in battle against terrorism, a joint team of security forces eliminated three terrorists, including a top commander of terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The encounter took place at Sopore late last night, police said.
A joint team of army, Jammu and Kashmir police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) gunned down three terrorists in an encounter, said police officials, adding that the killed terrorists was identified as LeT commander Mudasir Pandit.
The slain terrorist was involved in killing of three policeman, two councillors and the same number of civilians, added officials.
