Amid tension and threat of COVID-19 infection across the country, a tech company ‘Dhanush Infotech’ took up the task of creating awareness among people about the contagious disease and also initiated several moves to stem the spread of infection.
Under this campaign, Dhanush Infotech launched VMed telemedicine application on April 4 last year so that people could avail the assistance of expert doctors, who are associated with the application, without venturing out from home. With a short span, the application recorded significant attention from common masses as well as doctors.
Several municipal corporations across the country opted to VMed telemedicine application for ensuring medical guidance to common public in their respective areas.
Apart from offering the telemedicine application, Dhanush Euphc team had performed COVID-19 screening of all judicial officers and staff in district court premises Rajamahendravaram on March 17 last year. On the occasion, 333 judicial officers and staffers were screened along with distribution of 10500 masks, sanitizer bottles as well as general preventive medicines.
Likewise, Dhanush Euphc team conducted a corona screening programme in District Judicial Court in Kakinada in March 2020.
Dhanush had hosted COVID awareness programmes in Visakhapatnam, East Godavari district, Vizianagaram and other districts. It also played a remarkable role in swab collection, contact tracing, training of ANMs and ASHA volunteers, door-to-door awareness campaign, hosted video conference with municipal commissioners for creating awareness and formulating a strategy to deal with the pandemic.
Notably, praising the efforts of Dhanush, Rajeev Nagar Colony (eUPHC) Vizianagaram felicitated it with Kayakalpa Award.
