Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh), Nov 8
To take stock of security arrangement and ongoing anti-naxal operations, Narayanpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Girija Shankar Jaiswal on Monday reached restive Kadenar and Kademeta area in the worst insurgency-hit district of Chhattisgarh by riding a motorcycle.
On the occasion, SP Jaiswal closely reviewed the security arrangements at the camp and interacted with the incharge officials. Meanwhile, SP Jaiswal gave specific directives to security personnel about the anti-naxal exercises and also asked them to acquire a sensible approach towards locals, particularly women and children.
Interacting with security personnel, SP Jaiswal instructed the security personnel to extend necessary help to villagers in every possible way, so that the bad image of police shown created by fictional films can be erased from the mind of people. Meanwhile, the SP has asked the personnel to pay special attention towards maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene in the camp along with inclusion of sports and recreational activities in their routine for the good health of body and mind.
SP Jaiswal also visited local markets in the restive areas and interacted with people to take stock of problems being faced by them.
